ANGUS HERDSIRES FROM THE PAST AND PRESENT!
Our bull program was started in the 80's, and since then we have raised them to keep and flourish in rugged South African conditions!
Through the years we have selected for well muscled bulls with good feet, that are full behind the shoulders with extra meat on the hindquaters. We believe that studbulls should be bred out the top females with good udders and lots of milk!
LOUMOTTA JR EWING
JR is sired by the current SA Recordholder and past National Champion Loumotta John Deere. His dam is one of our prominent show females, Loumotta Lassie 981.
LOUMOTTA MACK
Mack's dam is a Loumotta Equalizer embryo daughter out of JMS 97 786. The argentine genetics that his sire, Calidad, brings to the table is an added bonus!
LOUMOTTA .50 CALIBER
50 Cal is the product of an intentional line breeding done to Queen. The sought after Queen cowline is one of the Angus industry heavyweights that traces all the way back to the 1988 National Champion Marsh Moor Queen!
LOUMOTTA MAN OF STEEL
His dam is a Loumotta Gentleman daughter out of the Red Belga cowline. His sire is JK 14 35.

The 2016 Stambook/Landbouweekblad Elite-platinum Bull. He was sold at a previous Alliance Sale!
LOUMOTTA EQUALIZER
Equalizer is an embryo out of the famous Gazella 801! He is sired by Anvos Lofty, a previous SA Junior Champion. We lost Equalizer as a 4 year old bull due to three day stiffness, but luckily we retained semen of him! We used him strongly the last few seasons in our AI- and embryo program, and we can say without a doubt that his calves are some our best performers!
LOUMOTTA WIMBLEDON
Maternal brother to 50 Cal. WImbledon is one of youngsters with tremendous potential! He currently ranks in the top 1% of the breed for no less than 4 breeding traits!

Full sibling to Loumotta Equalizer! Sold to Jacat Stud (Nambia) at a previous Alliance sale!
LOUMOTTA TJ
TJ is Calvin son out of the Lassie cowline. TJ was a reserve SA Champion in his own right, and has also sired a National Champion. He is still one of our go-to AI-sires, and with his female progeny's high amount of milk, it is no secret! What we will always remeber about TJ is the exeptional width he had from behind! We have sold 5 semen shares of TJ to date.
LOUMOTTA JOHN DEERE
SA Grand Champion bull at the SA Centenary National Championship show in Bloemfontein in May 2017. John Deere’s sire is Feddes Big Sky R9 and his dam CBC 10-688 Jewel. He was sold for a new record price of R255 000 to Gert and RC Malherbe, at the champions auction directly after the show. This bull had a 28kg birth weight, his mom was a heifer, and at the time of the show (just over 3 years old) he weighed 1270kg.
LOUMOTTA SUGAR
2011 National Grand Champion and Gold-cup winner. He is sired by Loumotta Hulk out of the dominant Jane cow line. Sugar is also the sire to Loumotta Legend that sold for R210 000.
LOUMOTTA LEGEND
He is sired by Loumotta Sugar out of a Calvin daughter. Legend sold for R210 000 to Leon van Rooyen (a previous S.A. Record price). Gary olivier and Enslin Coetzee also bought semen shares of Legend.

S.A. Grand Champion bull 1998. Sire to Loumotta Tank, the 2006 National Champion.
LOUMOTTA CONCRETE
Walter Dentlinger, well-known stud breeder form Namibia, selected Loumotta Concrete for Reino Basson. Concrete is a Mulberry son out of a Leachman Grand Canyon daughter. Grand Canyon was a national champion in the USA. Loumotta retained semen from Concrete. Reino Basson paid R 220 000 for Loumotta Concrete as a two year old bull.
LOUMOTTA HULK
Sire to 2011 Gold cup winner Loumotta Sugar. We sold his dam, LVR 503, for R200 000 as an 11 year old female to Mark Hatting of Australia.
LOUMOTTA TANK
The 2006 National Champion. He is sired by Loumotta Jim, who also won the National Championship in 1998.
LOUMOTTA IRON MAN
He is a Sugar son out of a Girlie 707 embryo daughter! His daughters have picture perfect udders, and it is no secret that they are some of our best producers!
ANVOS CALVIN
We bought Calvin 679 on 23 September 2003. He was Grand Champion in the same year. Calvin is an Elslie Victory son while his dam was a Marsh Moor Libertas daughter. It really hit us hard when we lost this bull to three day stiffness after two breeding seasons. Right from the start Calvin bred stud bulls like Loumotta TJ, Hulk, Buster, Agro, etc.
LEACHMAN KINGDOM
a Legend in the Angus industry! He was imported from Amrica in the late 1980's or early 90's by Charles Pope. He became SA Champion in 1992 and also sired 4 Grand Champions! He is also the grandsire to another 6 Grand Champions. He together with his progeny dominated shows in SA for more than a decade!
